Bring together 40+ stakeholders to design multiple global campaigns to support first annual "State of Design & Make" longitudinal study.

Travel guide

Project Background

Mission:

Build interactive family travel guide for 3 launch cities to harness organic traffic and drive bookings.

Challenge:

Small budget going up against big players in the travel industry like Expedia, Trip Advisor, Airbnb.

Solution:

Employ freelancers in each city (Maui, Orlando, Myrtle Beach) to write family-focused articles that cross link to hotels available for rent on our platform. 

Results

- #1 Keywords across each city within 3 months

- 400% increase in bookings

- Keywords continue to rank for 3 vacation guides 5 years later

Bulk Calculator

Project Background

Mission:

Automate customers looking to buy in bulk by eliminating manual form submission and allow instant purchase.

Challenge:

Shipping costs varied based on location so we had to work in formula for U.S. based purchases. Additionally, we donated balls on their behalf and donations needed to be elected in the process which distracted from the purchase decision.

Solution:

Built a seamless calculator that automated (and upsold) customers. We knew the SEO phrase "buy balls in bulk" was valuable so we optimized for that and drove donation by offering three choices.

Results

40% Increase in overall retail revenue

Massive decrease in time spent (from 2-4 weeks to 2-4 days)
